How to Care for Printed Clothing
Washing, drying and ironing printed garments, with the care lists for each category.
Quick answer: follow the care list on your garment’s product page, which comes from our print partner. Most of our cotton pieces list a cold machine wash and a low-heat tumble dry, while swimwear, leggings and performance fabrics often say to dry flat, line dry or hand wash. Where ironing is allowed, keep the iron off the print.
General habits that help a print last
- Turn the garment inside out before washing, so the print is not rubbed against other fabric.
- Wash with similar colours, in cold water unless the care list says warm.
- Avoid chlorine bleach. Where a care list allows bleach it says “non-chlorine”.
- Dry on a low heat or flat where the list says so, and never leave a damp garment bundled for days.
- If you do iron, use the lowest setting the list allows and iron on the reverse side or over a cloth.
These habits are general good practice for printed garments, not a promise about any one product. The care list on each product page always takes priority.
